CABATUAN WORLD WAR II VETERANS ASSOCIATION AND MEMORIAL

by Nidas Moneva

During the time of former Cabatuan Mayor Fidel Ahumada, they organized a World War II Veterans Association composed of all Cabatuananons who fought against the Japanese Empire.

They erected a Veterans Memorial as a souvenir for their courage and gallantry displayed during WW2 to save justice, liberty and democracy in their country.

This was on January 4, 1991.

The post consultant was Sinforoso Padilla, and the post commander was Fidel Ahumada.
